Amazon.com Does Groceries?

Posted by techie on June 20, 2006

I read a nice post about Amazon starting to sell groceries. I think this is a good idea because competition is always a good thing. However, it would seem odd to me to buy groceries from Amazon. It just doesn’t feel right yet. Here’s an excerpt of what they have:

The list includes a whole bunch of harder-to-find natural and organic, gluten-free and vegan products, and groceries are eligible for Super Saver and Amazon Prime Shipping.

That would be nice if they accepted paypal. :)

PayPal would be good. What about google checkout? Since Amazon doesn’t accept paypal now I don’t expect them to accept google checkout either.
