For the first time ever, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will be hitting the road in September! See your favorite dancers in person. The tour will go on sale on the weekend of August 12th. Check back here for the official SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE tour info updates.

I say so far, because I’m hoping these are not all the locations for the tour. It seems to be missing some major places that they would want to tour. Take for example, Las Vegas. If So You Think You Can Dance doesn’t make it to Vegas then I would just have to say that this tour sucks. Not to mention it would suck for me since I couldn’t go.
I just can’t believe they are doing so many performances so close together. It depends on the dance, but it sure does seem like a lot of dancing. I still think that Ryan Rankine should have been sent home instead of Dmitry. Not only because Dmitry is better, but because he also would be much more interesting to see on tour.
I’ll let you know more as they put out more tour dates. What other cities are missing? Where else should they go so you can see them dance?

I am so excited that they are gonna come to Atlanta! My friend and I love Benji and we are so excited to see him! I do think that if the tour doesn’t go to Vegas that would suck! I love the video of Benji and Heidi also!

It looks like Buffalo, NY is going to be the closest one for the Toronto fan. Buffalo isn’t too bad of a drive from Toronto.
Going to Canada probably makes the tour much more complex. Just a thought.
I’m 99% sure they won’t visit more than one city in WI and Milwaukee, WI is already on the list.
Texas is another large oversight. I wonder if they chose the tour locations according to the number of phone call votes they received for different areas.

I would love to see the show come to either Reno, Nevada or Las Vegas. So Far, I don”t see any California shows either which could be an alternate location for me. What it up?

Sorry, I just relooked at the schedule and see there are 2 California stops. The Oakland venue, which is the closest is in a really bad part of town.

Universal City looks like it is north of LA. That’s an option, but seriously what kind of Tour can So You Think You Can Dance be if they don’t show up in Vegas. The number of possible venues in Vegas is enormous.
Nigel, get some tour dates in Vegas. I think he should also throw a bone to all those canadian fans. I honestly didn’t know canadians got fox. Shows my ignorance.

I’m from Toronto and will be driving to Buffalo – if lucky enough to get tickets – with some friends of mine. The last time I had to go to Buffalo was to watch MTV’s airing of Madonna’s ‘I Got to Tell You a Secret” doc last year! I look forward to seeing Ivan and Travis!! I’m seeing Celine’s Vegas show Oct 8th – I guess the winner won’t be in the show that soon which is disappointing. mgree

They probably will add more places, but they may have went depending on where they got the most votes from.

Has anyone gotten the scoop on the ticket price? I’m going to try to make the Charlotte, NC concert but I don’t want to get my hopes up if ticket prices are too steep.

Still nothing posted on ticket prices. I don’t think it will be that cheap. However, this is the first time they’ve done the tour for So You Think You Can Dance so they might test to see where the price point is.

I’ve searched high and low for ticket prices. So far nothing has been posted. Maybe I should start calling the show or the locations to see what I could find out.

I’m very sorry to say that it’s not coming to Vegas. The closest is Reno or San Diego. I live in Vegas too, so it sucks. You can see the list of tour dates and locations here:

I wish that ya’ll would come to Mobile,AL or Pensacola,FL. I want to come to the tour, but I am only 17 and my parents wont let me go off by myself, and they don’t go to tours or that kind of stuff. It’s not because they don’t like it, but my mom physically can’t, so my dad won’t make long trips. But I could come if it was that close, because they would let me drive that far. It’s not even two hours away to either one of those places for me.
